Watermelon juice (kaaling juice)
Watermelon is the thirst quenching fruit in the summer. During summer watermelons are out and seen in all the local markets of Goa.
You bite the fruit; make the fruit salad or custard or raita, whichever way you eat the melon, its tasty and divine always!!
During childhood, we used to compete among ourselves (we were 3 siblings) for eating the more number of melon pieces when a watermelon was cut!! Now I see the same spirit in my kids and both of them are competing with each other to eat more amount of watermelon, when a melon is cut.
Everyone in my family likes watermelon juice (kaaling juice). So when satisfied with eating watermelon, I prepare the watermelon juice (kaaling juice)!!
